WMBC Membership & Harborne Permit Renewal 2024

Renewals are due on 1st January regardless of when membership or a permit is taken out and should be made on, or as soon as possible after this date and in any case during January. This allows me time to process renewals and issue the new membership cards or permits before the reserve gate code change on March 1st.

For members who pay by standing order or have a Recurrent Worldpay agreement renewal is, of course, automatic.

Members who joined between October 1st and December 31st 2023 and set up a recurrent payment (bank standing order or recurrent online payment via Worldpay) do not have to renew for 2024 and will automatically receive their 2024 membership card and pass in January.

Renewal Methods

Online Renewal – This is now the Clubs preferred method of payment.

Single Payment

Please click on the “WMBC Membership & Harborne Permit Online Renewal – Single Payment” link below and follow the renewal and payment process online. This will allow you to make a payment for your 2024 subscription.

If paying by this method for the first time you will need to have an active email address logged with us and have a debit or credit card (Visa, Maestro or Mastercard) to make payment. You also will need to set up a username and password, using your surname and membership number, which you should keep a note of securely.

If you currently pay by this method, you will be able to login with your username and password. Once logged in click on “Renew my Membership” and you will be presented with a page summarising your membership, click on “Payment” and you will be taken to the “Worldpay” secure online payment system where you can make payment for the current year’s subscription

WMBC Membership & Harborne Permit Renewal 2024 - Single Payment

Converting from Paying by Single Online Payment to Recurrent Online Payments

If you currently use the one-off payment facility via Worldpay online annually, but wish to set up an automatic annually recurring online card payment, then please notify me by email at membership@westmidlandbirdclub.org.uk and I will arrange for Worldpay to email you a secure link so you can set up a recurring payment agreement. Please click Worldpay Recurrent Payment Example for example screen shots of this process to show you what to expect.

- A “recurring payment agreement” is like a direct debit or standing order arrangement, but regular payments are debited using your card details instead of your bank account.

- You will need to agree the amount (see the above Subscription rates) and frequency (annually on January 1st) of the payments when accepting this agreement.

- Once you have accepted this agreement, you can view your payments or end the agreement at any time by using the Worldpay Shopper Management System and your personal login and password which will be provided by two separate emails by Worldpay once the agreement is set up. If you do end the agreement, please inform WMBC Membership Secretary. Alternatively, you can contact WMBC Membership Secretary via email to perform these tasks on your behalf.

- Payment for your membership subscription will be made annually on January 1st until you decide to cancel your payment and membership.

Online Renewal Deadline

Please note if you haven’t renewed by March 1st 2024, you may not be able to renew online as your membership record may have been deactivated. In this case, please email me and I will gladly reactivate your record.

Paper-based Renewal – Please click on one of the links below to download a form if required. A copy of this form will be emailed in December or included in the Winter Newsletter, to those members not using an automatic recurrent payment method, as part of the renewal process. A paper form will be included in the winter Newsletter for those members for whom we do not have an email address.
