The Solihull Branch currently runs a nest box monitoring scheme at Blythe Valley Countryside Park which is registered with the British Trust for Ornithology. All maintenance work on the boxes is completed by the end of January in readiness for the new breeding season. Monitoring of the boxes commences in early April and usually involves 10 - 12 visits until all young birds have fledged.
